1. About this policy

This policy explains how Mariner handles personal information in connection with this website and inquiries about our services, including inquiries originating from advertisements. Client engagements may involve additional privacy, confidentiality, and data-handling terms in a separate agreement.

2. Information we receive

  • Information you provide. Our consultation form asks for your name, email address, and phone number. We also receive information you choose to share in follow-up communications.
  • Advertising inquiries. If you submit your details through a Mariner lead form on an advertising platform, we receive the information you choose to submit. The platform also handles information under its own privacy policy.
  • Technical information. Website hosting and delivery providers may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic logs to deliver and protect the site.

Please limit follow-up messages to what we need to understand your inquiry. Do not include sensitive personal identifiers, account credentials, payment card information, or confidential financial records.

3. How we use information

We use inquiry information to respond, understand your business needs, arrange conversations, and discuss services you have asked about. We may also use relevant records to maintain our business communications, prevent abuse, resolve issues, and meet legal obligations.

If we send promotional emails, you can opt out using the instructions in the email or by contacting us. An inquiry is not consent to receive marketing text messages.

4. When information is shared

Information may be handled by providers that support website hosting, form delivery, email, scheduling, and other business operations, as needed to provide those services. The consultation form is provided by Close, our customer relationship management provider. Close loads the form on our homepage and stores your submission in our Close account so we can respond. See Close’s Privacy Policy for how Close handles this information.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable privacy requirements. We may also share information at your direction.

Our homepage uses the Meta Pixel to share page-view information with Meta for advertising measurement. This may include the page URL, IP address, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers. See Meta’s Privacy Policy for how Meta handles this information.

5. Cookies and advertising

The Meta Pixel loads when you visit our homepage and records a PageView event. It may use cookies and similar technologies to measure advertising effectiveness. When JavaScript is disabled, a tracking image sends the page-view request instead. Fonts and images used for the site’s design are served with the site.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and advertising preferences through Meta’s settings. See Meta’s Cookies Policy for more information. Close, which provides the consultation form, may also use cookies and similar technologies under its own policy.

6. Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to handle inquiries, maintain relevant business records, fulfill agreements, and comply with applicable legal requirements. The appropriate period depends on the information, our relationship with you, and any legal or dispute-related obligations.

No website, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee complete security. Please use the inquiry form for introductory information; any sensitive records needed for an engagement should be exchanged through a separately agreed channel.

7. Your choices and requests

You can choose not to submit the consultation form. You can also ask us about the personal information we hold about you, request corrections or deletion, or ask us to stop promotional communications.

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have additional rights to access or receive a copy of your information, object to or restrict certain uses, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Some requests are subject to legal exceptions, including recordkeeping obligations.

To make a request, use the contact details below and explain what you would like us to do. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Please do not send identity documents unless we arrange a suitable way to provide them.

8. Children’s privacy

This website is intended for business audiences, not children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can address it.

9. Policy updates

We will update this page when our website or information practices change and revise the date above. Where applicable law requires additional notice of a material change, we will provide it.

10. Contact us

For privacy questions or requests, contact Mariner and include “Privacy request” in your message. Share only the details needed for us to understand and respond to your request.
